i saw that peppers is targeted by the pats, in my opinion i dont think thats going to matter all that much. the pats arent held in such high regard i dont think. i believe peppers choice is going to be primarily influenced by money. if kraft is going to be willing to make a larger-than-haynesworth kind of investment and i doubt he is. with bradys contract being re-done and the need for a primary weapon on the off side of the ball (considering moss likely gone after 2010) i see them targeting someone like anquan boldin. i havent heard any rumblings of that nature, but if they have additional picks they can afford to overpay with a future pick. with all that being said it wouldnt surprise me if he does sign in NE (peppers) and boldin ends up in MIA.
i see tebow altering throwing motion but it will all hinge on his personal workout.
i predict that clausen will either be elected by a team trading into a particular spot to get him OR he will fall out of top 8, leaving the bills with a tough choice. i think hes going to measure in the 6'1" area and fall 7-12 picks because of it. if he checks in anything at/over 6'1 3/4" his stock will remain strong, pending pro day. if hes 6'0" - 6'1 1/2" he will be avail at 9 i think.
if, for some reason shanny replaces campbell this offseason, i wouldnt mind the bills grabbing him for a 4th rd pick, maybe conditional 4th next year, and just give him a shot. he struggles in large part to the fact that he hasnt had the same off coordinator in consecutive years since 9-10 grade! Big, mobile, big arm, showm many flashes of being more than competant!
i hear the top four teams are looking to move down. its ironic to me that the uncapped year comes at a time of economic hardship and that everyone tries to avoid spending huge money at the top of the draft. it humors me because at a time when draft picks are soooo hugely over-valued, the most precious picks seem to be mid 1st round-mid second round. picking in the top ten is now frowned upon for more than just the crappy season the team must have just endured, but also because of the uncertainty surrounding such a huge investment.
